Cellendar turns the rows of your Google Sheets™ spreadsheet into Google Calendar™ events, then keeps them matched: new rows become events, edited rows update them, and rows you mark for deletion remove them. No template to copy, no duplicates.

Works with your sheet as it is
Point Cellendar at your existing columns. It suggests a mapping from your headers (Title, Start, End, Location, Guests and more) and you can change any of it. It doesn't clear your sheet or make you copy a template.

Check before anything is written
Before each sync you see what will happen: how many events will be created, updated, deleted or left alone, and which rows need attention, with a button that jumps to the row.

A status in every row
A
Sync statuscolumn says what happened to each row in plain words: “✓ Updated”, “⚠ Start date is not a date”. Nothing is skipped silently. -
Real sync, not one-off copies
Edited rows update their events, and a delete marker removes an event while keeping the row. Cellendar notices changed rows by itself, so you don't have to tick “update” boxes.

Time zones and all-day events done right
Add an optional time zone column per row; otherwise the spreadsheet's own time zone is used. For all-day events the end date is inclusive: 12–16 means through the 16th.

No duplicates, no surprise emails
Running a sync twice, a dropped connection or a double click won't create a second copy of an event. Invitations go to guests only if you turn that on.
How it works
Three steps, once

Open the add-on
In your spreadsheet, choose Extensions → Cellendar → Set up sync.

Confirm the columns and pick a calendar
Check the suggested column mapping and choose the target calendar. No calendar is preselected, so events never land somewhere you didn't choose. You can also create a separate calendar just for these events.

Check rows, then apply
Review the summary and apply the changes. Next time, Sync now applies edits straight away, and still stops to ask before deleting anything.

Google shows a consent screen when you first use Cellendar. Here is every permission on it, in plain language. We chose the narrowest option Google offers for each job.

Use calendars shared with you (optional)
Only if you turn on “Also use calendars shared with me”. Google asks for this separately, at that moment.

What we don't ask for
- No access to Gmail.
- No access to Google Drive or your other spreadsheets.
- No full calendar access: Cellendar cannot delete your calendars or change their sharing.
- No contacts, no location.
Where your data goes
Your spreadsheet and calendar contents are processed inside Google's own Apps Script environment and are not sent to our servers. During the beta nothing leaves Google at all: Cellendar has no server of its own.Privacy Policy. You can remove access at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
